The article you posted is really quite unsettling, especially combined with the events that will be taking place at the UN. I dunno, but something smells rotten about the whole thing.

I also have a heightened sense of awareness that something is approaching and it's not going to be good. There is a lot of activity in the spiritual realm.

Check out post #278 and #420 for additional information that adds to the unsettling equation.

Oh, I agree.

The USCG needs to get permission to fire on a vessel before it does, and it uses disabling fire first unless fired upon.

In all cases, the minimum force necessary to maintain compliance. Period.

If they discharged their weapons without issuing a Notice to Mariners and Aviators prior to the drill, then it was a REAL threat, and they had a ‘weapons free’ command from an O-6 or better.

Something happened today that wasn’t an exercise.

Currier says other agencies were not notified because of the low-profile and routine nature of the event.

Not able until now, a day and a half after all this went down, to peruse the real-time unfolding of this. All I'd heard was an announcement on the radio news, that it had happened ... but that it was a drill. "Boy, somebody's in trouble," chortles one of the news announcers. And I'm thinking, "You believe it???? How gullible can you get?" An officer Currier of the Coast Guard explains:

Currier says other agencies were not notified because of the low-profile and routine nature of the event.

Sept. 11, morning, in Washington D.C., less than a few miles away from where the U.S. president will speak. A branch of the U.S. Military.

ZERO "low profile" or "routine" could ever be associated with that scenario. It strains credulity to the breaking point to think any sensible person, let alone a group of sensible people, could think otherwise.

I wonder what the hell really went down.

In fact, I think that’s EXACTLY what they should be doing on 9-11. Their job is to stay ready to prevent a second one. What better day to train than the one that drives home just what they’re training for?

That's EXACTLY what they should be doing on 9-9, and 9-10, and 9-12, and 9-14, and every other day of the year. But on the anniversary of 9-11 when blood is still very hot, within minutes and less than a mile of where the U.S. President is located in the nation's Capitol, it seems to me that crew should be expending their energy and concentration on looking out for the real thing. It's a time of super-heightened probability. The training drill spiel is bogus, says my common sense.
