What Did You Expect When You Asked for Change?

Many of us weren't looking for change let alone asking for it.

What did they expect?

Peace, love, dope!

And everything is free!

(oh yeah, and “STICK IT TO THE MAN!)

“What is the President asking us to do?”

Nothing.

Only insisting.

Many of us weren't looking for change let alone asking for it.

You and I weren't, but let's face the facts.

A large majority of the people who voted expected some sort of "change", whatever that meant to the individual.

And let's not forget to give credit to the apathetic voters, many of them parents of the 60's, who were too busy to raise their kids the way my parents did.

With a hug and a kind word of encouragement when we did well, and a hard lesson when we did not follow through with the lessons we all knew we understood to be S.O.P.

Schools have become skools, Christianity has become looked down upon as a backward cult, and political correctness has forced the vast majority to cower (mostly with no fight) to the sick and depraved social norms of the perverted left.

End of rant...

And properly indoctrinated kids will grow up to be adults who will think its perfectly all right to drive Mom and Dad to the Green Hills Termination Center for “the common good.” Parents who don’t teach their children to be wary of government will have only themselves to blame when it turns out badly for them.

A large portion of the population bought the ginned up Bush hate. Hate easily blinds people into doing things they may not otherwise do.

I've seen some of this “Bush hate” you speak of.

And those people I am targeting. I ask them, “All the hate you had for Bush, and you give Obama a pass for the same things (and worse). Either explain why Obama gets a pass or promise me you will start paying more attention to politics and spread the word to your (liberal) friends that you were wrong, and that Obama must be stopped.

I get a lot of “I know what you're saying. I'll think about it.” I'm making progress getting through to them!

My Democrat friends are really shook up about the direction he's taking us all. All but one. Bruce drank the Kool-Aid and I see little hope for him.

But I have fun proving him wrong in crowds!!

On Tuesday the President of the United States will speak to school children across the nation in a television address

Well maybe.
First many of the largest cities school systems will not be open by that date.
Second, many, many schools district will not be showing the Obama feedinstead psoting it on the schools website.
Third many parenst are insisting that their children not be forced to watch a blatantly poltical speech.
Fouth, many parents will keeptheir children home from school.
Good job Obama. Way to get our children educated...........

For most I try to empathize with them and get them to understand that things won't change unless we all start taking responsibility for putting all these jerks in office.

It's not about Democrats or Republicans.

It's about saving the Republic and getting back to the intent that the Founding Fathers had when they wrote the Constitution.

The poeple I know who voted Obama have stopped talking. Tacit admission that I told you so.

So now I need to strike up conversation with complete strangers. That’s going well, I usually start with how is the hopey changey treating you.

What state are you in?

Starting a conversation like that in some places will get you in trouble (or shot!)

Obama will clean out the jails and put former inmates in charge of his civilian security force. He, on the other hand, is still looking for a church to go to on Sunday.
