If they thought people were pissed off and causing a ruckus with health care, start talking about quadrupling their electric and water bills and see just how pissed off 85% of America can get.
They think we’re “causing trouble”. They haven’t seen “trouble”.
I hope you are right. Problem is we need to be focusing on BOTH pieces of destroying legislation - because they BOTH must be defeated!
The other side will not let down - we must be writing, calling, and as you say - showing the true backbone that has now been generated by the healthcare opposition.....hopefully giving courage to any who know this Cap and Tax bill’s devastation but were shy about saying so - NOW, not later.
If all the liberals would just hold their breath . . .
I doubt you’ll have much success until it actually becomes the topic of conversation. Right now everyone is focused on the health insurance bill.
I think this climate change bill is separate from cap & tax.

NO, it’s the same bill. The official name is about Climate Change - but what it is is the Cap and Tax bill.
Cap and Tax is being justified because we are all going to die from global warming i.e. Climate Change.

The strong and growing opposition to socialized health care is bottle necking other legislation.

Does anyone realize how utterly stupid the phrase “climate change legislation” sounds? Legislation is done by humans. Legislation is nothing but rules written on paper. Legislation is not going to control the activities of the sun. Congress knows this legislation would be a tremendous HOAX. Congress knows this legislation is nothing but thievery of taxpayers’ money. Does the voting public actually think their representatives can control the activities of the sun with some kind of man-made rule?
Show me the piece of paper that is going to decrease or increase sunspot activity.

Sooo let's see.... socialize 15% of the economy via health care, control and heavily tax all energy use (subsidizing favored groups, of course), take huge positions in car and finance companies... what's next? Oh, yeah, screw up the efficiency of any ununionized company through Card Check, and issue orders forcing government contracts to go only to unionized companies.
That punch bowl is getting pretty full. A real stew.
With a little luck we can knock both of these freedom stealing bills in the head.
It will only become the topic of conversation if We the People make it so. Teaparties and 9/12 and other gatherings must begin to yoke the Energy Tax scam ("climate change" is irrelevant and should never be mentioned) with the nationalized healthcare scam as unaffordable financial burdens that will crush an economy still in recession.
I doubt that the national socialists can pass either of those destructive bills with the American people mobilized and ready to stand up to them.
Actual Americans are damned tired of being dictated to by communist thugs, whether from this nation or any other. Our imperial DC criminal class will find NO SUPPORT for anything it attempts to shove down the throats of the American people.
