I have always liked Trafficant. He still is my favorite Rat.
The writer of the headline deserves a kick in the pants.
It wasn't stupid, he was the democrats version of Olympia Snowe (R)and the Dem's took an attitude and got him out of the way.
He was bought and payed for but realized he was being used.
The Dem machine didn't like his attitude so they had him put away.
Perhaps time away has made a good man out of him.

You’re right; NOBODY can mess with the IRS. The former head of the Iranian Secret Police who was living in exile in Upper Saddle River, N.J., told a friend of mine that the IRS is the most powerful and feared intelligence agency in the world. He said that had he had the powers and the resources the IRS has, the Shah would not have been overthrown.
Then he may have to become a dimocrat again if he doesn't please the republicans.
Point being, he will be free and clear when he doesn't politicize corruption for personal gain.
Me thinks he may have learned himself a hard lesson on that one already.....trust in God, question everyone else...

Traficant is unpredictable. He might say he would vote for Obama, and for his programs.
Said the FBI and CIA could throw themselves at the ground and miss. LOL
I’d take Traficant over about 85% of our current republicans.
Now that you mention it, I canceled my cable after they put him away!!
Jim Traficant held the world’s all time greatest press conference.
He called his colleagues a bunch of political prostitutes. The House demanded an apology so he called a press conference and apologized to prostitutes everywhere.
Trafficant has a predictable heart. Read his 1 min. speeches over 2-3 years.

Only Traficant could pull that off. I hope he gets back into politics. This time as a republican!!
Traficant is not out of the legal woods yet. He still has to serve 3 years probation. They could still put him away if he doesn’t play his cards right.
