Corker just came out for compromise with Obama on health care on another thread. Most everyone there wants to recall him, not support him for Potus. Scarborough amd Mika....I dont think so.
did Dick Nixon lose your support when he made a fool of himself on ‘laugh in’?
He had been elected President by then.
There is no comparison between a Patraeus and a Palin.
IQ difference about 30 points at the least.
True, I have to learn more about his positions, but he withstood withering questioning from liberal Democrats, which is more than Palin could do.
Palin couldn’t remember what she read for news sources.
Palin claimed she never heard what Tina Fey was saying about her, because she just watched SNL with the sound down.
Palin is MAYBE VP material, but not Presidential . Will see how she conducts herself in the next few months.
he had not been elected president yet when he appeared on the 9/16/’68 episode of ‘laugh in’. that was the show I was referring to, not the later one. I should have made that distinction, sorry for that. I’m a HUGE Patraeus supporter. I would love to see he and Palin as vp 2012.
“Im a HUGE Patraeus supporter. I would love to see he and Palin as vp 2012.”
Hell yeah!
Which one has kissed dictators asses and which one has kicked dictators asses -- Which one do you really want in the white house...Any questions.
It's a simple question; One man has spent his life committed to the advancement of this great nation through service, honor, commitment and sacrifice and "the one" has apologized for America being a great nation, filled his cabinet with CZARS and has attacked the CIA -- Who is more qualified to "really" lead this nation -- "The Patriot or the Poser."
Unlike "the one" and his distaste for all things American;
You are right when you say she is not presidential material. A secretary in the cabinet? Maybe. But not president.
I'm votin’ Jindal in 2012.
and, yes, I called them “Palin-bots”
I would love nothing better than to see Dick Chaney as President.
It is not as if the conservatives around the country will have much influence in the matter. The script is similar every time ... the GOP establishment decides on their candidate and the IOWA caucus folks select the alternative, their favorite candidate, who is a “lemon” for much of the country. And that is the choice we’all end up with.
IOWA gave us:
Pat Robertson ‘88
Buchanan ‘96
Bush ‘00
Huckabee ‘08
Those Iowa “conservatives” haven’t shown good judgment on propelling quality candidates into the top tier. Good luck to anyone trying to talk sense to them.
and, yes, I called them “Lemons” (Robertson, Buchanan, Huckabee) ... and the only purpose they served was to prevent a mainstream Reagan conservative from emerging.
