I will be attending the Tea Party Express Stop at the state capital in Hartford, CT on 9/11. I suspect it will be a large crowd since we had 5,000 attend on 4/15.

Wait’ll your caravan hits the huge Border Patrol checkpoint at Sierra Blanca.......but don’t be dismayed - everyone is stopped and quizzed, without exception.

Also we should prolly warn 'em to watch out for jackalopes on the road to SA from El Paso. They're endangered & TPWD doesn't take kindly to seeing 'em turned into roadkill by Outer Texans. ;-)

Does anyone know if the caravan will go through Nashville on the way to Louisville, KY? I’ve seen the map, but it doesn’t give route numbers. Family will be in the area and might want to wave from an overpass or something.

Take a half-day off and drive up to Waco. They’ll be here around 5:00 tomorrow. If you come up I-45 and turn left at Buffalo, it’s not a bad drive.

We skirted Hill Country this past May on I-10 and saw a couple of dead deer (and one live, grazing one) right alongside of the Interstate.....those “watch for deer” signs shouldn’t be taken lightly.
