Here’s another thread on this topic. It’s big news if it’s accurate.
That’s how you change the Republican party. By changing its leaders. I’ll vote for Honore.
I was hoping to have an alternative to Vitter. Now it appears we do.
YEAH! If you cheat on your wife. Resign. The men I want leading this State and Country know what commitment is. Glad your wife forgave you, now go into private life because I don’t.
good~!!!
your vote is 100 TIMES MORE IMPORTANT in these primaries!!
only about 10% of voters vote in primaries
I know in my district last time there was 26 people All day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I COULD HAVE WON A PRIMARY IF I GOT ALL MY FRIENDS TO VOTE
Don’t know much about Vitter.
“Honore admitted through aides to the Weekly that he is “pro-life and pro-family”.”
“Admitted? ADMITTED!?
"Don't get stuck on stupid."
Here’s another thread on the same topic.
“Dont know much about Vitter.”
You’ll get an earful on this thread. He’s a Republican U.S. Senator who has an excellent voting record, but doesn’t practice what he preaches. He was a regular client of the D.C. Madame.
Aren’t these rags amazing?
The General didn’t admit anything. He stated it.
I so hope this is true. This is exactly the kind of man the Republican party needs.
If he is not a RINO. Run him. We need all the good people we can get.
Excellent.
‘Military voters, who constitute a plurality of the Republican electorate, will flock to Honore, and the party leader in question also believes that the General’s race will matter to primary voters less than his social stands.’
Wait...I have no clue what the guy looks like. So what is his race?
BTW... I would probably vote for the guy just from what I know of him. Vitter’s good but Honore seems like a trade-up.
Check Postings #7 and 12.
I have trouble trusting anyone from Cajun country. It’s the French heritage, Republican or Democrat.
I looked it up. French Creole it says in his bio with the lineage being Spanish, Indian, and Black.
Frankly, it doesn’t matter what race he is to most people here. In Louisiana, names count more than race to most voters. Honore would lock up a sizable chunk just off of that. It’s why Blanco runs with her maiden name of Babineaux.
And don’t get to thinking race and names are important. Running as a Republican, he’ll have to have a good argument. The LA GOP isn’t too bright but the registered Republicans here tend to not vote for losers.
Wow! He’s not “stuck on stupid”, that’s for sure!
