No, I was reading a book by Misha Glenny called ‘McMafia’, talking about the spread of organized crime after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and there’s a section that talks about gangs in China who ship Chinese to different countries to basically work as slaves, and that this was why the Balkans had such a large Chinese population.
