They learned how to compromise and forgot how to win.

Most of them forgot why our founders designed a role for them in the first place. Service...not personal gain.

For General elections, I'd say close the primaries and rearrange their order where the reddest state in the previous election goes first. Reward the states that show the most support for the party.

If they don't like it, reject the delegates. The dems fiddled with MI and FL in 2008 and still ended up winning them. They'll get over it.

Probably just a pipe-dream for me. But I've been communicating that to whoever wants to listen.

On a micro-level, all I'm doing now is witholding support and campaign work for any moderates. I do send letters, emails, and contributions to reps on every level that exhibit true conservative principles. I remember when Voinovich cried over the Bolton appointment. He'll never get another dime or another hour out of me. I'm glad he's done. Maybe we can upgrade.

I also try to "turn a lib" as much as possible. I think a lot of dems are actually more conservative then they let on. Must be some sort of guilt-complex. Emotions get the best of them I guess. If I can get one, he may be able to get five more.

It's certainly a tough road ahead.
