As of 7:30AM EDT, the headline on the main Yahoo page for this story read:

Biden to announce almost $1.2 trillion for medical records

The story actually says 1.2 billion, but after the government is done with it, they'll probably be closer to the original title. Another one of those "rounding errors," ya know........

Wonder if after spending that amount of money for medical records we will finally see Obozo’s “original” birth certificate? /sarcasm

Well I can still dream can’t I.

Oh, “I had a Dream!” of him being evicted from the White House in handcuffs.

I thought the healthcare industry was making to much money and part of the reason for the reform was to cut money?!?!

Handling out money to have hospitals do something they will likely do anyway is FOOLISH!

Jeanne Lambrew, the director of HHS' Office of Health Reform, sought to explain the spending program to anyone who has had to fill out the same form at doctor's offices over and over again.

The government is the leader of generating excessive paperwork so these very forms are the ones mandated by some asinine government regulation!

Vice President Joe Biden plans to announce Thursday nearly $1.2 billion in grants to help hospitals transition to electronic medical records.

Lemme guess - they get the money if they buy GE's electronic medical record product?

Are you being silly or are you not familiar with Bill Clinton's Privacy Patients' Bill of Rights Act that did little more for physicians' offices than create lots of paper, take up time, make it hard for family to inquire of the health of their loved ones and burn out a bunch of paper shredder motors.

With Obama-Biden it’s a billion here, a billion there, no big deal. But it’s the $2 billion for drilling offshore in Brazil that rattles me when we can’t drill offshore here. What a bunch of B.S. And, to top it off, George Soros invested heavily in that oil. Payback, big time, compliments of the U.S. taxpayer.

Hmm... maybe part of this 1.2 billion goes to suppress some medical records?

Think about this: You are in the hospital and you are allergic to at least three meds and, because now they just put a sticker on your id bracelet that you are “allergic to something”, the hospital has SERVER PROBLEMS and they can’t access anyone’s medical records. HOW ARE THEY GOING TO FIND OUT WHAT YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO?

Hospitals transition to electronic medical records. That worked well for Obama.
