This adminstration does nothing but deceive. Now with these co-ops. Watch for a heavily subsidized and government regulated company muscling out private insurance companies. Insurance reform will be another ruse to regulate private companies out of existence. Then the Obama operatives will swoop down and bailout the insurance companies and appoint a czar for the adminstration to have de facto control in the usual fascist fashion. They can then say blame any rationing on the “private” insurance companies and remain above the fray.

Preexhisting conditions is a straw issue. First of all, to force companies to issue insurance coverage to those with preexhisting conditions would only apply to health insurance. How about for auto, home and life insurance. Why pay those pesky premiums when you can wait till you need the insurance before you actually buy it?

Insurance is exactly what it says it is, it is a bet you make with the insurance company. I bet I will need more in coverage than you will collect in premiums. Since the insurance companies rely on statistics, they know where to set the rates so they end up with a rate of return as you in effect pre pay for your needed medical needs.

The OZ-ero wants to turn this on its head. They want insurance companies to guarantee coverage to all. Frankly, I do not wish to be in a pool of individuals that includes drug users, immigrants with diseases that were extinct in the US till they got here and individuals who figure they can now game the system.

I have said this before: I do not want to pay for anyone elses: Health Care, College Educations, Car, House, or living expenses other than my family and those I chose to help out.

What I'm learning from Obama and his running dog lackeys is that there's no lie so outrageous that it cannot be used to advance one's program.

I don't sell insurance, I'm just a consumer that has experience with a serious medical condition in the family, underscoring  the necessity to get insured before you get sick, and  stay insured.
