I think there are many issues in the Reagan presidency that are similar to the things Bush seems to be villified for and Reagan excused or justified for. But then, FReepers aren’t known for their consistency... LOL! (including this FReeper)

No, I’m not vilifying Pres. Bush, but I learned the lesson of history that amnesty doesn’t work and leads to more of the same.
