The White House has called a "youthful indiscretion" long ago resolved.
He was 21, not 2 - that's old enough to know that shoplifting is a crime. I'd prefer executive appointments who aren't tax-cheats and scofflaws, personally.

Theft is a youthful indescretion? Is the Ozero administration’s generational theft a youthful indescretion, as well? I guess so.
Gawsh, does TOTUS employ ANYONE without a criminal record???

It’s like a gang. In order to work for Resident Soetoro, you have to commit a crime for your initiation.

Well....I wouldn't want to be judged on everything that I did as a teenager (or at 21).
However, if he had just come out, said "Yep, I screwed up. Won't do that again.", he'd have been much better off.
I'm more concerned with the fact that he thought that he was smarter than the sumtotal of the American People.

No, no, it wasn’t shoplifting....it was an “undocumented sale.”

Stealing a couple of shirts is a misdemeanor in comparison to Geithner and others in Bam’s adminstration who were out and out tax evaders. Have no fear Bam will probably give the shop lifter the Presidential Medal of Freedom next year.

“Now it can be told”....????
Is the media admitting to hiding any and everything potentially damaging to Obama?
Yes..I believe they are...LOL. Wonder when they are going to tell the truth about Obama and Tony Rezko or Blago? How bout the truth about Obama’s hidden records?

This is also the guy who temporarily stepped down from his Obama-appointed post as the FBI was raiding his former offices in a bribery investigation:
"As Vivek Kundra, President Obama's choice for U.S. chief information officer, was speaking about government transparency at the Washington, D.C., convention center on Thursday morning, his former offices a few blocks away were being raided by the FBI."
