Americans should belive that a thousand page bill that 90% of elected officials have not read, contains no objectionable provisions?
A bill that was reviewed by the CBO, BEFORE THE DISCUSSION DRAFT WAS AVAILABLE, contains no objectionable provisions?
Are you asserting that it is not possible for individual Americans to read the proposed legislation and find objectionable provisions?
Do you deny that elected officials have attempted to cherry pick sentence fragments from the legislation, in an attempt to mislead voter as to the true intent?

There is a town hall meeting that is not like any I’ve seen, everyone was calmly asking their questions. There was a guy who was controlling the mike and would only let them ask their questions or make statements. Never saw the rep. respond to any of the questions, but of the 5 people shown speaking only 1 was for Universal Healthcare and her reason for this is because the United Nations was for it...unbelievable. All the rest very reasonably anc calmly told what they knew to be a problem with this bill.

Today some protest in Oregon, California, Wisconsin, etc, so somehow I doubt these are just a “few” angry “Extreme Right-Wingers”.
It’s OK for Code Pink and other Democrat supported groups to shout down Conservatives but they sure have a double-standard when it comes down to their Liberal Rep getting shouted down.

Don and Teri Adams attended a rally protesting President Clinton outside Philadelphia City Hall in 1998 — and were beaten to a bloody pulp by a group of Teamsters. The Adams have filed a lawsuit. A special three-judge panel of the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals will convene to hear arguments as to whether a federal civil rights suit may proceed against Governor Ed Rendell for his alleged role in the 1998 Teamster beating.
Rendell, Philadelphia mayor at the time, has since admitted in a deposition to personally inviting Teamster boss John Morris and Teamster Union Local 115 members to attend a pro-Clinton rally, despite knowing the Teamsters’ propensity to use violence against opponents. Rendell acknowledged that he had specifically instructed the Teamsters to “drown out” Clinton protesters.
