I called Senator Bill Nelson's office yesterday to determine when he plans to hold his townhall meetings in South Florida.

The staffer on the phone informed me that he has not yet set his schedule and will release his plans later this week.

I asked her to confirm that he is planning townhall meetings and she repeated the above statement.

The guy has the guts to get in a rocket, send him to space, but won't face a few constituents?

Tell them the gov’t plan has a pre-existing condition clause -— age. Read them their QALY (Quality-Adjusted Life-Years).

Say you are the government end-of-life counsellor and you’re there to tell them their days in Congress are over.

Yes and signs proclaiming such cowardice outside of the Congressional clunkers offices are a good way to get the message across.

Line the streets, it’s the most effective rally site.

There are plenty of ways to get the message out on this against gov’t health rationing. It needs to be aggressive and gruesome. There should be commercials with groups of people being hoisted up to shelves and moved around with forklifts, people walking around with sections of tree branches for artifical limbs. There should be pictures from meat processing plants. There should be tribunals of bureaucrats with rubber stamps in front of them denying claim after claim. There should be testimonials from the victims of British and Canadian hospitals.

The only question is whether the DNC has the gonads to produce and place any such ads and/or whether network TV will run them. We’re probably destined to become the targets of a propaganda campaign that would make Josef Goebbels collapse in tears of joy.

In the follow the money paradigm, this has to make me think that big bucks are in play and we are getting the whole story. Somebody is going to make enough to retire until the barbarians storm the castle.

From what I’ve seen here in Indianapolis, the SEIU crew is union members that are called out to picket and pose as popular support for Obamacare.

The part that grinds me is when these rent-a-pickets show up to demonstrate, the local media portrays it as “support for healthcare reform” when it’s really a bunch of janitors who are playing hooky from their jobs and doing the union’s dirty work.
