Hey Buckeye. Thank you for having me on your ping thread. I hope you are doing well. We do appreciate your effort
66 has a whole lot less energy to raise kids than 45
Anyone who adopts 2 infants at age 58 should plan to spend lots of quality time with them ... I know from experience!
Kay has maybe 10-20 more years to give them. They need her more than the GOP does.
Besides, I’d like to see new life and new energy in the GOP. Watching McCain was enough
None of the above except for the senior citizens who sire or adopt infants.
Yes I believe their kids need those senior citizens who chose parenthood in their sunset years, more than the GOP needs them, or needs the same continuing names and faces for decades.
Term limits..yes
Oh doe heavens sakes. Kay Bailey is not a senior citizen. And those children are so lucky and blessed to have someone adopt and love them. And that is not what your point was. You think “women”..not men..should stay home and raise their children. But only women with whom you do not agree? This is a silly discussion. Kay Bailey is a working mother as are millions of mothers. She has every right to have a career and she can still be an excellent mother. As can Sarah Palin.
I think senior citizens who acquire young children- should stop at some point in their busy lives and use their energy to raise them. Notwithstanding people like Strom Thurmond or Pete Stark who acquire trophy wives to do the honors.
She most certainly is a senior citizen at age 66 with two 8 year olds. Imagine two teenagers at age 74!
This has nothing to do with Palin or women- everything to do with age and priorities and my opinion, not yours. My opinion is as a soon-to-be senior who left a career to raise two young kids
Where someone stands on an issue, sometimes depends on where they sit. I sit behind the wheel of a minivan shuttling kids to soccer games! Could I be a US Senator or Governor? Sure. Lots of household help to raise the kids
