1Tim.6 [10] For the love of money is the root of all evil: True enough but how do you apply the concept to America allowing itself to become dependent on foreign energy suppliers when we could have had energy independence by exploiting our own resources? At the very least it should be considered a potential national security problem. I believe that in all liklihood pumping oil out of the sand box was probably cheaper than extracting domestic supplies, at least early on. Do you suspect the oil industry is/was part and parcel in fomenting this foolishness?
