Well, I don't live in Texas, but yay! One RINO down, a gadzillion more to go. Oh, and about her gubernatorial bid - I hope she fails.

"I hope she fails." Chances are good she will.My husband is from TX and has a lot of relatives and friends. We will do all possible to help her fail.
She has never seemed very bright to me.

Great! One less vote against health care at the end of this year.
(BTW, if we purge all of the RINOs out of the party, we will have less than a dozen Senators to oppose Obama.)

I did like her comeback to Ann Richards many moons ago. Ann said “Poor Kay, born with a silver spoon in her mouth.” Kay said “Poor Ann, born with silver roots in her hair.”

Will the MSM 24/7 mock her as a “quitter”?

KBH as gov of Texas—what a nightmare!!! She is trailing Perry 10 points in a recent poll, and I pray that the good people of TX has more sense that to elect her as gov.

Here in Florida just after Easter we see all kinds of New Yorkers heading north.
We say, take a Canadian and an Ohioan with ya pal.
Yo Kay Bailey, please ya hag, take a couple more damned RINO turds with ya.
Bitch.
To: Baladas
I hope that someone will publicly ask Kay if she thinks that Obama should identify himself by producing a legal birth certificate and school records.

Kinky Friedman’s team has hired the same propagandist to make some posters for his Democrat primary campaign. Shepherd Fairey has ugly politics.

I’m not supporting or derideing her but this should be required of all elected officials. I commend her on stepping down to run for another office. Kerry,McCain,Biden Kennedy,Edwards on and on.
To: earlJam
if we purge all of the RINOs out of the party ...No one 'purged' KBH (RINO-TX), this was her unilateral decision. Gov. Perry will be able to appoint an interim successor (before the special election) who can oppose 0bama, and hopefully the voters of Texas will send a more conservative replacement for KBH (not a high bar).
