I believe you stated that well and very well could be true.

I just don’t see any other reason for him to have a bone to pick with the GOP.

Colin isn’t an ignorant, race baiting jerk. In fact, he’s quiet tempered.

His resentment however is unmistakable...

My grandfather once taught me that there is one thing that no man can take away from you, your integrity. You have to give it away.

You can’t buy it back, you won’t find it again, it’s just gone, forever.

Powell threw his integrity away the very day he came out in support for Obama. I don’t care how he explains it, it was a racist and unpatriotic vote.

He has defended our country with great commitment, and he helped to sell it down the river with that same zeal, only this time he was wrong.

Just remember, Powell, you went black, you can’t come back.

“Powell’s response to King was defiant, ‘I decide what party I am going to be in.’”

Does he decide when he’s inside or outside the voting booth? ‘ Cause seems to me the outcomes are different.

If Powell is a Republican, I’m not.

“Your NOTHING to me now Fredo(Colin)”

I don’t want to see or hear from him.

Let me guess: Reps should be more “centrist,” give up their principles in order to “get along” and “play well with others.”

Heard this song before....

"I believe you stated that well and very well could be true"

Correct, but it needs to be expanded.

Powell and all the Republican Realists/Pragmatists resented that Cheney, Rumsfeld, and the NeoCons had won out under Bush.

But they had been vindicated in 2006 when Bush moved the NeoCons out and replaced their policies with Realist policies. NeoCon Rumsfeld was replaced by Realist Bob Gates. Realist Nicolas Burns had been hired as Rice's undersecretary(power behind the throne).

Then, in campaign 2008, the Realists were unhappy that McCain had fallen under the influence of the NeoCons. When Obama adopted Realist policies, they all endorsed his policies. Powell even voted for him.

This article is a hit piece written by a neocon published at a neocon website.

"Powell and all the Republican Realists/Pragmatists isolationist resented that Cheney, Rumsfeld, and the NeoCons Republicans who realized we were in a clash of civilizations that required military action had won out under Bush. "

There, I fixed it for you.

Thanks for fixing that.

Now maybe you rationalize the republican bloodbaths of 2006 and 2008 that the neocons gave us.

We welcome his vote but do not need his advice and he does not deserve to be taken seriously.
