The “N” word is a direct quote from Gates himself.

Gates is just another communist tool, a useful idiot.

Every day a few more bubble to the surface of the liberal pond scum.

I read most of the first page, and then noticed that there were at least seven more

And it's a two part article! The second part addresses his critics - it's only two pages! LOL.

"It is a testament to Gates's power that most of his critics speak either off the record or anonymously.">

Here's one:

"A former gang member, Rivers studied at Yale and Harvard but did not earn a degree. He and his Jamaican wife, Jacqueline, in his words "committed class suicide" by living with their two children in a modest two-floor townhouse in a rough section of Dorchester known as Four Corners, where he cultivated the image of a renegade "outlaw minister." On at least two occasions, gang members have pumped bullets into his house. Rivers mentions the holes as if to highlight the vast difference between someone like Skip Gates, living cozily on one of Cambridge's poshest streets, and himself, here in the ghetto dodging bullets.

Stylish, intense, quick with a sound byte, Rivers has been Gates's most persistent critic over the years. He took on Gates and the "let-them-eat-literature" crowd in a 1992 essay in the Boston Review in which he urged black intellectuals to take up activist roles in the betterment of the black community. In response, Harvard's Kennedy School organized a public forum later that year titled "The Responsibility of Intellectuals in the Age of Crack," with panelists that included Gates, Rivers, Cornel West, and Boston University's Glenn C. Loury."

Here’s what this old story on Gates is about:

“As this 1998 Boston magazine story shows, Henry Louis Gates Jr. is no stranger to racial controversy.”

Over the next 8 pages it tells all about Gates.

What WE need to POINT OUT to the general public is that GATES is another FRIEND of OBAMA, another LOSER that Obama PALS AROUND WITH.

Why isn’t this being shouted from the rooftops? Look at Obama’s friends! “Birds of a feather flock together” and all that. It says an awful lot about what type of creep Obama is. We should find more “friends” of his and BRING HIM DOWN.

Sorry, I didn’t censor the N word in the original because it was a direct quote. Is that the rule? (The esteemed professor from Harvard sure seems to like to throw it around. That and M-F’er, etc.)

Please advise and thank you for the correction.

Okay. Another article about Skip and another quote about his other home, the one he summers in on Martha's Vineyard:

"...I understand you rent a big white house in Harthaven. Have you always stayed there?"

No. We rented all over the Island. I used to like to walk from Oak Bluffs toward Edgartown, because I just love the view from the bike path. And I’d pass this big white house and wonder who lived there, in a house that looked like the White House. Eventually, I found out that it was rented to the Davenports, a black family. I thought, “That’s cool.”

My idea of a vacation on the Vineyard was to look at real estate. We’d take the kids to the beach, and then we’d go look at houses. Then one day, our real estate agent said, “You know the white house in Harthaven?” And I said, “Oh my God, no!” She said, “It just opened up.” I took it on the spot. The last several years, I’ve written a book there every summer. It’s a great house for events too. We had a fundraiser for Barack Obama when he was running for the Senate, and two fundraisers for Deval Patrick.

Don’t you think it looks like a plantation, right off of Beach Road?

Yeah, that’s what I like about it. I love the irony of the neo-plantation look. As far as I’m concerned, it’s one of the most elegant and historic houses on the Vineyard, and my family and I are lucky to have it.

I'll say, Skippy.

The family was watching a CBS News documentary about Black Muslims, "The Hate That Hate Produced." To Skip, the Muslims were "just about the scariest black people I'd ever seen. Black people who talked right into the faces of white people, telling them off without even blinking." He recounts the scene in Colored People: "While I sat cowering in our living room, I happened to glance over at my mother. A certain radiance was slowly transforming her soft brown face, as she listened to Malcolm X naming the white man the Devil. 'Amen,' she said, quietly at first. 'All right now,' she continued, much more heatedly.

"All this time, and I hadn't known just how deeply my mother despised white people. It was like watching the Wicked Witch of the West emerge out of the transforming features of Dorothy. The revelation was both terrifying and thrilling.

"The same thing would happen several years later when the Martin Luther King riots were shown on television. The first colored secretary of the Piedmont PTA watched the flames with dancing eyes."

I'm sensing some Afro-African negativity here. Maybe it's just me.

I think the direct quote should be left as-is. It would certainly attract alot of attention, but in the process, people from all over (not just FReepers) would see what type of friends Obama has surrounded himself with all these years.

It says alot about Obama, not just Gates! People reading this should not just come away with the fact that Gates is a race baiter, but that he’s Obama’s FRIEND, just like other “friends” he pals around with.

I’d like to see the looks on the faces of some uppity Bostonians who open their magazine and read “HNIC”!

At Yale, his interest in Africa deepened. Since the age of 10, he had obsessively studied African geography, memorizing the names of the “presidents, leaders, and petty dictators” of the emerging African countries of the early 1960s. At the same time, black kids were joking about “Ubangi lips”—and, as he puts it, “big-d**k motherf*****s” who would “swing in trees and s**t, living in grass huts.” All the kids watched Ramar of the Jungle on TV every Saturday morning. But Gates was also fascinated by “the idea that black people—Africans—could actually run a whole country or fly airplanes or do electronic technology without some white colonial looking over their shoulder.”

N word is not welcome here you of all people should know that.

Of course the "N" word isn't welcome here, but what about the other "N" word...negro?

Isn't there a prominent National Negro College Fund? And even the NAACP won't change the out dated "C" word.

find more “friends” of his

Don't forget his 'hate whitey' and 'G&d Damn America' Church and pastor. BO is a racist and so is his pick for supreme court. No doubt - birds of a feather flock together.

“..so they have their own group of Whitey Haters within those ivy-covered walls”

That is what “Studies” departments are....enclaves in the university where faculty can conduct a Two Minute Hate directed at (choose one or more) whites, men, Jews, Christians,”Anglos”, and heterosexuals.

There are touchy, ignorant, oversensitive jerks throughout the world.

I can ignore them all.

No biggie. Really.
