I once knew a C.P.A. who was also a college professor. Whenever he screwed up, it was always either a "teachable moment" or he was "just testing us".

It was never an opportunity for him to stand up, be a man, and admit he was wrong!

As folks got to know this guy, respect for him steadily declined. Last I heard, he was teaching high school.

If I hear one more talking head call Obama’s “not an apology” comments about the Gates incident a “classy move” I'm going to barf. They are acknowledging that it was not an apology, it is as far as he's going to go and trying to pass that off as classy! That so lacks class and is so textbook narcissistic it's not even funny.
