All on the taxpayer’s dime...Secret Service in Chicago in advance covering all the bases, and then Obama’s big arrival in his favorite toy, AF1.

What a liar and thief.

President Barack Obama was in town tonight for a pair of Democratic fundraisers in Chicago where organizers hope to raise more than $2 million.

The president turned a big fundraiser at a downtown hotel into a bit of a pep rally for his effort to change the nation's health care system.

"I'm from Chicago. I don't break," he said, as the room erupted in cheers. "I've got great health insurance . . . I've got a doctor who follows me everywhere."

As Obama headed back to Air Force One, the motorcade took a surprise detour and pulled onto the tree-lined street of his Kenwood home on the South Side.

As the president spent a little time inside, a few neighbors stood on their porches and sidewalks to watch.

Obama congratulated Buehrle and called the game an "unbelievable achievement," joking that maybe it happened because Obama wore a Sox jacket at the All-Star game.

What kind of person even thinks like that? What a jerk he is. He is an utter moron. Worst President EVER.

I was near the hotel location this evening. What a traffic mess, with roads blocked off - choppers overhead - and folks honking like crazy, since they didn’t know what was causing the backup.

Where is “Omarosa”? But the more important question is “What is she wearing?”

OMG..WHAT ARROGANCE! We are getting to the boy king....lol. This boy can’t handle any opposition to his marxist plans without having a meltdown hissy fit!

Who is surprised that Obama is out raising money after he just had ‘private’ meetings with the Blue Dogs and the CBO? Somebody needs to keep an eye all of political purses of these ‘dogs’. I have a feeling some money will be deposited soon into offshore accounts. See...now Obama can try to say that the money going into these politicians that he buys came from ‘fundraisers’. How covenient....(eye roll)

Thanks for the ping.

I find it telling that he thinks the press has to carry his water for him. Aren’t they supposed to just report FACTS? If his plan is so good, it should stand on its own.

I think we should send him tons of post cards with only that word on them. This scares him. I am thrilled with Jim DeMint and that analogy.

I don’t think any president should be able to take trips to campaign for others. Do presidents do any real work? It seems to me that all they do is travel, play golf, schmooz with other leaders, and take vacations.

If I had known it was that easy, I would have tried for the job myself!

No pics of the fashionista. She’s at Luray Caverns the last I heard.
