I am hearing that FOCA is written into this health care debacle.

Ya, it's easier to chalk up people who disagree with you as inferior. I understood the relevant portions: "To manage the global economy; to revive economies hit by the crisis; to avoid any deterioration of the present crisis and the greater imbalances that would result; to bring about integral and timely disarmament, food security and peace; to guarantee the protection of the environment and to regulate migration: for all this, there is urgent need of a true world political authority, as my predecessor Blessed John XXIII indicated some years ago." His following caveats, as in paragraph 41, make the idea either nonsensical or absurdly idealistic, and therefore totally impractical.

Ya, it's easier to chalk up people who disagree with you as inferior. I never said, nor implied that.
BXVI speaks of a REFORMED U.N. He also favors capitalism, and vehemently opposes socialism. He is pro-life, pro human rights, pro individual freedom and anti statist.
"...there is urgent need of a true world political authority...."
Wouldn't it have been a good thing if a REFORMED U.N. had stopped the Rwandan genocide?
It *is* an idealistic position, as long as there is sin in the world.

No one could ever for any reason mislead Christ. The Pope if he were The Vicar of Christ on earth could not be misled as it would be impossible. I expect that soon many Catholics will have to become disillusioned with The Catholic Church. Just the fact that it lets countless murderers of poor innocent preborn babies take Catholic communion should be enough to really make one think that there is definitely something wrong with the way the Catholic Church is conducting itself. Logic must prevail in the end for all true seekers of the truth and love of God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
