In addition not a lot has happened in regards to Honduras apart from the "negotiations" SecState Hildebeast brokered a few days ago. Chavez hasn't carried out his threat to invade. Pro-Zelaya marches in Honduras haven't amounted to anything. (the press has had to bend over backwards to make them look big and to ignore the far larger pro-rule of law marches)
0bama may get lucky and the whole situation will quietly resolve itself with Zelaya exiled and law and order restored in Honduras. But if things heat up in any way he will be on the spot to say or do something again and it wouldn't surprise me if he continues to adhere tightly to his pro-communista stance. We shall see.
I wonder about 2008.
