Liberals fear exposure more than anything else. They attack anyone they fear will expose their corruption and their attempts to undermine this country. FreeRepublic, thanks to Jim, gives American patriots a home.

Thank God for FR and for Freepers, they keep me sane in the current insanity that is the Obama Administration and his accomplices in Congress and in the MSM.

Don’t worry ‘bout it . . . Until they start liking us.

FR will be my home page for 12 years coming in September/October. No place I would rather start the day when I get online. I love the name FReeper!

I’d love to see a political blogger Olympics, left vs right.

Who would the contestants be?

Not just because we have more talent

US? Surely you know FR is not a blog.

I hope.

To: Jim Robinson; All

Hi Jim,

I’ve been here since 1999, and I can remember exactly where I was and what I was listening to when I heard about FreeRepublic.com.

Everyday, I would take my lunch break at 11 am just so I could listen to the last hour of Rush Limbaugh. One day, I heard Rush talking to a couple of ladies from FR and I remember writing it down and after I checked it out - I was forever hooked.

I HAVE BEEN AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE A - MONTHLY DONOR. Aside from Rush, there is no other site my money is attached to.

Jim, it was an honor to meet you - and I have never forgotten the huge dinner we had when you visited San Diego.

I don’t post a lot anymore because I’m back working full-time and there just aren’t enough hours in the day. But I try to chime in on the threads that are already here - especially when I feel the issue is important.

Again, Jim - along with all the familiar names I see here, thank you so much for persevering when times were tough, and not being afraid to set standards for posting on this website.

I agree with so many comments; I have fallen off my chair (literally) over some of the most funny and cleverly written posts - proving to me that some of the best and brightest reside here. I’ve met policemen, authors, and wonderful moms.

I do feel safe here - and have been protected from posters who only wanted to be malicious and mean.

Many, many thanks!

Look at it as a case of mind over matter. One ought not mind because the opinions of Obamite liberals do not matter!

Pick the category, I’d love to see steelyourfaith, xcamel debate global warming lunacy with anyone HuffPo, or DailyKooks has.

Blog may be the wrong term. How about amateur activist online political grass root pundits?

I’ve seen some good blogs. I lump any technology that allows and empowers private citizens to bypass central planning agenda driven BIG MEDIA into the same general category. Call it what you want.

I'll call it what it IS.

Although I support FR, I wish FreeRepublic would accept firearm advertising. Jim deserves a big raise, and seeing guns ads on this site would be like frosting on a cake.
