It should be pointed out that the Russian National Anthem is the same tune as the old Soviet Anthem. They got rid of the old anthem when the EVIL EMPIRE collapsed, but the Chekist Vladimir Putin brought the old anthem back and just changed the lyrics.
So to Obama, the Russian anthem is probably one of the "prettiest sounds on Earth," after the muslim call to prayer of course.

Never, in the history of this nation have we had such a POS for POTUS.

He probably has “Back in the USSR” in his IPOD as well...and will start wearing one of the stylish Mao/Hillary outfits...LOL

It is actually a pretty rousing melody, to be honest. But I don't think he'll make the mistake of groping his crotch during the Star-Spangled Banner again. I certainly hope he isn't that dense.

Since obozo is a marxist, he did what any marxist-loyal person would do.

Frankly, 'The Internationale' **is** a better tune than 'To Anacreon in Heaven', the tune to which Key's
Defense of Fort McHenry' was set, and later became our anthem. And 'O, Canada' is a far better tune than ours, too.

Thank you,I’ll be using that from now on.

A big “hell no” to Canada’s anthem being better than ours.
It’s nice. It ain’t better by a long shot. Not when you actually listen to what ours says.
This is still the last place where the few remaining “home of the brave” live.

Pardon me, I did NOT say the anthems were better than ours...I said specifically that the tunes were better, which is inarguable to anyone who doesn't have a tin ear.

Sorry for the mixup. I gueses I still don’t think the O Canada tune is so easily counted the winner. I mean, I have heard it, and it’s pretty, but it just sounds too european and kind of limpy at times.
