I suppose if I showed up with a fist full of money, they ‘might’ listen.

Pubbies are rish, seems they want power or adoration. Don’t know which is worse.

You offer nothing good to this thread. you are a distraction. and not productive to the cause of conservatism. you are simply another arrogant Palin hater.
go darken another thread with your presence.
We all follow ideals, and while I have a great respect for our Founders, and those that led and fought in the Revolution, this is still 2009.
I do not suggest that the principals and values that the Founders and others put forth should be forgotton, their ideas must be embodied in the living. Leadership has many facets, political, military, corporate, personal and of the family. The leadership we need now must come from someone as well as something.

A lot of people have run for VP. It's means nothing. If their ticket loses, they are forgotten in six months.
...well, you certainly showed me with your immeasurable contribution. LOL.
True enough ($1.2 Billion), but wasn't this deficit caused by the drop in oil prices. About 90% of the states general revenue comes from oil revenue. Couple this with a decline in tax revenues due to the recession and this is to be expected. Palin asked the legislature for cuts in the budget. It's also interesting to note that due to the up and down oil market AK puts away money for just such shortfalls. I wonder what happened to that savings from the surplus years.
I'll take your word on the other points, but find them less than disturbing in the scheme of things. Palin most likely had to play the political game of compromise on the state jobs. I honestly haven't done the research.
What I do find disturbing is Palin pushing for an increase in welfare spending. I cannot seem to locate any info on this. Would you mind pointing me in that direction?
AGIA. Lots of flash. No product. Add a commitment to give a 1/2 billion dollar payout to a foreign company.
I'm not privy to the internal dealings of the plan to build the pipeline, but I do know that after 30 years Palin was able to get the deal past the state legislature. The foreign interest involved is a Canadian company. Since the pipeline will cross Canada is it not understandable that a Canadian company would be in the mix? You comment "we are further away from a pipeline than when the last Gov got run out of town" does not seem to hold water. I hardly see this as a "mess".
As for 3 and 4 on your points, they don't seem like Palin leaving a "mess".
