Palin was tethered to Alaska and was getting bombarded with expensive, frivolous “ethics” complaints by ruthless DemocRATs, but now she is FREE to raise a gazillion dollars from mainland coast to mainland coast.

By resigning now, the new guy (reportedly a conservative Republican) will get a tremendous leg up (as the incumbent) on getting elected to a full term in the next gubernatorial election.

But my favorite part is the handwringing tizzy the scumbags are in thanks to her announcement:

“Oh my! What did Sarah do? Where will Sarah go? What will Sarah do next? Oh my!”

What bothers me is most of her critics on the right have lots of money like Ingraham, and do not understand what a burden the Palins are under. Or O’reilly who promised to give her money if she starts a fund He lied. So what are they to do to pay off bills.

Sarah Palin does not seem to be the type of person who'd wait until 2016 to run for President just because America will be in worse shape then than in 2012.

If she smells blood she will go for it in 2012.

I listened to Karl Rove on O’Reilly tonight as I was painting. Rove opens by saying one of the main reasons Palin shouldn’t have resigned is that now she won’t be able to decline invitations to events by saying she is busy with her executive duties. IOW’s if she remains an executive she has carte blanche to lie at will. I almost puked up my hot dog and beans. DC is disease laden, right, left and armadillo on the center line of life alike.

When yu KEEP winnijng on a tightrope, you will eventually lose.

There was no REASON for Bush II to have such close margins, if he had only had a CONSERVATIVE, PATRIOTIC advisor instead of this Friend of Mexico.

The RINOS control the RNC. Sarah will need all the support we can muster. I have contributed $$$ to the RNC in the past. But all....and I mean all my monry is going to Sarah this time around.

One other to consider is the PAC set up by Jim DeMint SenateConservatives.com. None of the money goes to the GOP. It goes directly to conservatives.

I think when the money dries up at the GOP the rinos will lose their grip. The key is to make sure conservatives know that we won't tolerate anymore "DC swamp fever" where they begin thinking it's more important for them to be there than to do what we sent them to do.
