new party? hmmmm...... after all as Shakespeare said:

“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet.”
a rose by any other name, is still a rose...

that said, she gains votes, which we will need desperately in order to win, if she runs as a Republican and uses the Republican moniker. My gut tells me that is the best move.
she only gains by running as a Republican, as did Reagan.

3rd party would be a mistake.

She should run for the senate. She’d be a great addition.

And the mood it ripe for it, so many disguntled Conservatives that want their party of Reagan back, we got Clinton lite with the GOP at the moment and it makes me sick.

The problem wasn’t Palin. It was McCain. No conservative was excited about him. They knew what he was. It was only after he picked Palin that I got excited about the party. McCain had no chance after the banking meltdown. Sarah couldn’t have revived Abe Lincoln after that debacle. Sarah is right on all the issues. Number one is “why are we begging the Saudi’s for their oil when it’s right here in Alaska”? This just boggles my mind. The answer is the Dems don’t want to find more oil. They want you on a bicycle to work. They think “oil is dirty” as Harry Reid said. The problem is that there are probably 200 million cars that make this country run and without them, we will be a third world banana republic. That is exactly where we’re headed with this “cap and tax” scam.

IMHO, today, the GOP went from being the party of Sarah Palin to the party of Mehgan McCain. I’m outta there!

I think she is a Drug Warrior to a certain degree, tho I hope that I am wrong & as a Governor she will respect State’s rights re: this & dozens of other issues. She has “admitted” to smoking pot, & I respect her for saying that she did.

I totally believe that everyone who voted for McCain-Palin were voting for Sarah, not McCain.
But they still came up 10 million votes short, didn’t they?
Those are the hard figures.

When it came down to election day, 0bama had 10 million more supporters willing to go to the polls for him than Sarah had.
It’s time for the GOP to move on.
It would be political suicide to pull a Mondale with this chick.

Michael Steele’s comment on the matter.

“I plan on talking to Governor Palin very soon. She is an important and galvanizing voice in the Republican Party. I believe she will be very helpful to the Party this year as we wage critical campaigns in Virginia and New Jersey. I am certain this has been a difficult decision for her to step down as Alaska’s governor. She has been a good governor for her state and I wish her and the Palin family the best during this transition.”

The Republican party needs to be transformed the way Reagan did in the ‘80’s. No third party ever worked - especially in conservatives favor (refer to 1992 Bush/Clintoon/Perot).

Sarah is positioning herself to be able to help other conservative candidates campaigning for House/Senate/Governors in 2010. She cannot tour the country and do this as Governor of Alaska. The DemonRATS will scrutinize every penny she spends (did it come from personal funds or Alaska taxpayer funds?). This is what she meant by “making a difference” in other ways than a state governor. It also allows her to have her voice heard in other venues besides the governors seat.

I think she is going to reinvigorate the Separatist movement in Alaska and secede from the Union :) Watch this movement sky rocket.

With all the subterfuge from McCain's people, along with his shooting himself in his own foot, your statement in no way even approaches accuracy.

Rush made reference to a ‘secret project that kept him up until 5 a.m.’ during one of his shows earlier this week. I believe he said Mark Levin was also involved...beyond that; you’ve got me.
