Having air superiority is a big equalizer, better army or not.
“Again, exactly how was his removal from office unconstitutional? A judicial decreeparticularly one issued by a supreme courtis presumed to be lawful, regular, and constitutional.”
If the US Supreme Court orders the President of the US to be removed, is it legal? No. Only the Senate, after a trial, has the power to remove the president. Maybe things are different in Honduras, but from reading the discussion of their law at http://www.nyulawglobal.org/globalex/Honduras.htm and the WSJ article at http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124607117649864407.html it seemed to me that they were ready to commence impeachment proceedings, but never got round to it. I ask you this, where in their constitution does it say that when a president is constitutionally removed for crimes against the nation, he should be spirited away by the military to a neighboring country? Sounds fishy to me, but I could be wrong, I admit. I’m just surprised that everyone is so sure that this was legally and constitutionally done, when there is so little evidence of that.
