Organization of American States? Inter-American Democratic Charter? WTF are these things? Why should they hold any precedent over the country’s constitution?
As for the Rule of Law, they did follow the rule of Law. They ousted a guy who had become an enemy of his own country by doing something that was unconstitutional.
Please, America, get rid of this clown in 2012. Hell, give us congress in 2010 and enough senate seats to shove an impeachment down his throat and we’ll do it for you.
I’m not so sure that our current military brass don’t know. I suspect they might.
As for not revealing the situation, we’re in two wars right now. Things would get really bad in the military for it to come out until the military had contingencies in place. And that’s to wait for a period of civil unrest against his policies. The military is being very careful.
Maybe after the July 4th Tea Parties he’ll be getting the facial tick, again.
It still is a coup because the duly elected President was removed by the military without a court order or law that empowered them to do so.
I’m not crying for the removal, I simply try to keep track of where Coup d Etat’s have occured, it’s sort of a hobby of mine.
