Canadian Embassy is NOT accepting injured protesters!! (Iran)

Ok sever twitter sources on this, could just be traveling from blog to to blog, without anyone checking for the facts, but if true it's disterbing, all the other reports I've seen from or about the other Embassies say they are taking injured.

Why should the protestors go to Canada? Look at all the places the protestors could go in Asia besides way over here.

The protesters are not going to Canada, they are taking the wounded to different embassies for medical treatment. Besides the fact that the embassies may be closer, there have been unconfirmed reports of injured protesters being shot at hospitals.

So far Canada is the only embassy reported (again don't know how reliable the sources are on this) that are not taking in the wounded.

I read that also along with reports that the Australian Embassy is open and caring for wounded,

I imagine it's different bringing some Americans home versus potentially having to accept thousands of asylum seekers.

It is not the role of any embassy to be involved in civil unrest...be the cause good or bad.

My money is on a direct threat from the Iranians that Canada keep their gate shut. They were burned once. Doubt they would want to be burned twice.

There is a good reason for this; they don’t have any medical help currently available at the Canadian embassy. They have put out a call for physicians. The source for this is multiple re-tweets on #iranelection.
