Just reading about the precautions to protect Hawaii. Do we realize how absurd it is to have to protect the homeland from North Korea.
Threats like this have to be eliminated, not talked about.

After the McCain intercepts, then what? The Captain hand delivers a stiff note from Il Douche?

I believe a very stern letter will be required.

The Captain hand delivers a stiff note from Il Douche?A note that starts off by addressing the North Koreans as "my friends."

It’s good to see that we’re not treating this like a law enforcement matter. Change of mind, _resident Obama? At least the truly qualified are still able to do their jobs.

The U.S. military is seeking to intercept a flagged North Korean ship suspected of proliferating weapons material in violation of a U.N. Security Council resolution passed last Friday, FOX News has learned. Why is the US military enforcing the UN Security Council's resolution?
The rest of the world wants the US to butt out and let the UN handle things, then the UN can send their boats.

Will the USS Juan McCain be offering the North Korean ship amnesty, health care and a house?
(After all, it’s only doing the job American ships won’t.)

McCain’s being called in to do the job that President Obama is unwilling to man up for.

Didn’t there used to be a tradition of not naming a ship after a Senator until he retired?

I believe the USS John McCain is named after Admiral John McCain, Father of Senator Juan McCain.
To: DManA
Oh wait, is it named after his father? grandfather?

This should be scary and interesting if true. I am sure our satellites are doing a rectal probe right now of logistical movements of Nork supplies, troop movements, missle sites, etc. I think if NoKo decided to use nukes we would use a high yield tipped cruise missle to obliterate the NoKo capital. NoKo is not what I am worried about it;s about the Chinese massing at the border. Has geopolitical and other repurcussions. China gets involved with NoKO, we institue a trade embargo against China, they rapidly in weeks descend into starvation mode and we tell them to eat our trillions in bond debt. See the grand scheme here.
