Brother -in-law had bees for years, my brother still keeps them, once they are smoked it’s simple to find the queen and move her. The rest will follow. They will help you get started with moving some of their food and starter trays etc.. Enjoy the honey.

I like smoking bees, but they keep wriggling out of the cigarette papers.

Did you know if you smoke bees, you can get one hell of a buzz?

Italians - mostly yellowish color, represent a good compromise between gentleness and productivity.
This should be fun. Basicaloy you seal everything but one egress/access point, place a hive near that point, and put a one-way gate (a cone of hardware cloth - but narrower gauge than the usual 1/2 inch - with the wide base on the wall and the narrow opening at the tip away from the wall.
BEes leave, can’t figure out how to get back, so they tend to move into the hive. When population is depleted, her majesty moves out and, with luck, into the hive.

Then you seal and move the hive — and get to clean up the mess.

That’s the procedure I read. I REALLY want to know how it all works out!

There are few problems in this world that can't be solved by the judicious use of C-4...

That’s fantastic! We need the bees and I’m so happy things are going to work out. :)
