I made no judgement, Quix.

I asked him to consider the possibility. That is FAR from being confident of anything.

It is one possible explanation for his bitterness and contempt at people who admire a man he despises.

I make no claims to see into his soul, as he boldly and brazenly does into mine.

(My posts are now being made under the assumption that he is a Christian, Quix. I haven't seen any evidence from him of his faith here, and I am actually trusting your judgement on that matter. There has been no "fruit" from him on this thread).

I am not "basking" in either holiness or righteousness. In fact, it is quite the opposite. I am admitting my sin before a Holy God, and noting that you do no such thing.

I don't feel like a "victim" at all. If anything, I see you as a victim of your own rage and bitterness. You may call it contempt for others, but it is your problem, not theirs.

As for your desperation to find tidbits that accuse me...........who cares? There are plenty of Bush haters who have said nasty things about me. You guys feed on saying nasty things. It means nothing.

And using the Name of Jesus Christ repeatedly to score political points and beat up political opponents is definitely taking His Name in vain.

I've been wonder what kind of church/ denomination approves that kind of thing?

Using the Name of Jesus for political argumentation is serious business, and something we all should be very, very careful not to do.

There's not a disclaimer in that passage (or any other) that if the person you're using Jesus' Name to beat up doesn't have the "right" politics, it's OK to do.

(Please note that this post is to me as well, as a caution to never use Jesus' Name in this self-centered manner).

It's a challenge to remember that God is Sovereign and in control with the horrid mess in Washington and the chaos around the world (with a traitor in the WH who will do nothing about ANY of it!), but that's what we have to hold onto these days.

All of us as Christians, sin, but we have the way to forgiveness if we but ask.

Bush Koolaid Drinkers cannot be enlightened, nor carry on a fact-based, objective, critical discussion about DPRK Process-Oriented Policy Failure, and blame 8 years of North Korean keystone-cop engagement of Bush, on five months of President Obama (fool that he is). It is the inherent nature of the beast. It is an oxymoron, and a mathematical impossibility to boot. So what's the point? With all due respect to my very good friend (Mr?) mkjessup, I have more important things to do right now than argue with them who cannot analyze George W. Bush's failings objectively. I will give him credit where he did good things, but I will excoriate him where he screwed up terribly, the most notably of these being North Korean and Chris Hill's Six Party Talks efforts under the Bush/Rice State Department. These people cannot be reasoned with because they are blind in addition to being intellectually dishonest and historically incorrect (when they assert such philosophical diarreah such as "why the North would NEVER launch Taepodongs or Scuds/Nodongs or conduct nuclear tests or challenge us this way or fool us at the negotiating table under PRESIDENT BUSH!" (sic).
