...TNT makes a little animation of RaceBuddy drilling a manhole into the ground to illustrate the transition from FOX to TNT’s coverage: a light jab at Digger. FOX Sports’ David Hill was a little miffed about it, but he’ll get over it. Still hoping that Digger will end up in the ashcan of dumb FOX Sports ideas like FoxTrax,...They wouldn't need these gimmicks if the races weren't so boring. (I'm a lifelong NASCAR fan, btw.)

Totally agree, and I blame Lil Brian and his COT plus the cookie cutter tracks for the doldrums that Nascar is in.
I have a feeling that’s why they are going to let the pony cars run NW next year....manufacturer support or not. It darn well may help the manufacturers if the cars looked a little more like something you could buy.
