lawful orders given my police officers must be obeyed at the time they are given. everything else can be hashed out later. but an immediate threat of violence needs to be stopped. Green dripping wet BS, that is how you get cops choking ambulance drivers. There was nothing wrong with the option of backing off and removing people out of harms way. The brilliant way to handle the matter.
