I was thinking the same thing last night. He's been placed in the middle in this by Lechermann. I would think he, the NY Yankees, or both would be rather upset. I suspect they're holding back to see where this heads. And that doesn't make me very happy with either...

Have they picketed CBS offices in New York?

Have they called for CBS sponsors to pull their ads till he's gone?

Have they marched up the steps of Congress to demand action?

I dunno. I'm not a Yankee fan and pay no attention to A-Rod. But his/their silence is beginning to grate on me.

Not true. SNL did one skit with Madonna pretending to have a humpy crush on her. It was during Madonna's "lesbian period" and it made Chelsea out to be a babe. It took a couple of days, but the Clintons pretended to be outraged and pleaded with the media to leave their baby alone.

It was the opposite of "ridicule", mockery or distain.

I suspect there’s a lot going on behind the scenes we don’t know about, but I doubt Lechermann will get what he deserves. He’ll finally have to issue a clear apology but that will be as far as it goes. He deserves termination.

But, it is a big deal. And NOW’s coming out with a statement is as clear an indication of this as anything. Sure, other statements from women have been made, but none that can or will garner the attention that this will. And even should Lechermann walk with an apology, he’s a marked man.

Chelsea Clinton was indeed butt ugly but the attacks were relentless by late night comediians...she was 11 years old.

Madonna was pretending to have a crush on her? Give me a break. Unless you are talking about when Chelsea’s butt ugly mother was running in 2008.
