Jon Voight:
"Certainly, at the outset, the democrats fulfilled their mission to paint President Bush as a war monger. And once they were able to reach out to the youth in colleges, on the internet with this lie, painting him as the evil one, never giving him credit for keeping us safe .. once they established that, then it would be easy to bring in The One, as Oprah Winfrey crowned him.
Im also ashamed to say that Hollywood was a big part of tearing down President Bush."

Jon Voight's closing remarks - also fabulous
~~~
Actor Jon Voight, who hosted the dinner, delivered a particularly harsh rebuke to Obama, saying he was "embarrassed" by the president and that Obama's leadership would cause the "downfall" of the country.
"We are becoming a weak nation," he said, calling Obama a "false prophet" and his administration the "Obama oppression."
Republican leaders who spoke afterward praised his comments. "You're great. Come back any time," Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky said. Gingrich called Voight's comments a rallying cry until the next elections in 2010.
Jon Voight is the only one that I see of any on our side who has the guts and courage to state the truth..... maybe he should run for office...
The pubbies were pathetic compared to Voight in the segment that preceded chow time. It was a shame. While they may be intelligent, they’re depressing to watch knowing what’s at stake.
Jon Voight In 2012? Contrast and compare. According to the AP, they didn't raise the amount of funds some expected. Good move, GOP. I guess you should have gone with Palin after all.
Listening to his speech, I thought the applause was light ans hesitant for his pithy comments. Later, it was enthusiastic for intros of Senators Hatch and Mcconnell--like they were hesitant to agree out loud by clapping. Am I wrong? or are these Congresscritters mostly too afraid to speak out or may not agree?
The comments at the Voight “closing remarks” site are so revealing of Obomba voters.....what morons.
Jon Voight was awesome! God bless the man.
I’m seeing some real hope. We are in a huge battle.
Maybe they were afraid the cameras would catch them clapping wildly and then be accused of being a racist on Tuesday morning !
Look how fabulous Rush looks ...he received the Freedom of Speech award from Talkers magazine, pictured with Mark Levin (I think he needs Rush's diet ;) at the steps of EIB1. I always thought Mark was short .. he is not.
