...this of course in due time will lead to the charge that the industrialized world wanted to keep the 3rd world from industrializing so that they would remain nothing more than dependent importers and sources of raw materials for the industrialized nations; a whole new round of charges of economic ‘imperialism’ and class warfare.

Countries in poorer parts of the world like China and India ...

China - our biggest creditor and India - another nuclear power and currently one of the largest beneficiaries of our outsourcing - are "poor"?
