Did you all see the note on Drudge this morning about the missile test?

Why? Charlie don’t surf! Neither does Al Qaeda.

Did you all see the note on Drudge this morning about the missile test? Saw the report on Fox. NK probably got the very direct message. I imagine fitting nuclear warheads to ICBMs requires a certain amount of secrecy. Kim Jong Mentally-Ill's spies probably can surf with California's best while trying to learn our plans for retaliation against any attacks on American territory like Hawaii or Alaska. Mentally-Ill loves to launch rockets on American holidays like July 4. I'm glad the military apparently got Zero's attention on this one.

Didn’t James Bond surf into NK in one of his films? IIRC, which is a rarity, the stunt double was Laird Hamilton or one of his proteges using his hydrofoil tow in board.

I haven't seen much news play on this beyond some local coverage. It's interesting since Vandenberg is "Cape Canaveral West" and the timing coincides with N. Korea's nuclear and ICBM-rattling as well as Bin Laden's threat. Hey come on! Important stuff like, "are Michael Jackson's white children his or not" is sucking all the oxygen out of the MSM. Finally the shallow boys have something to write about that they "get". Riots in Iran got bumped too...

The U.S. Army is at DEFCON 4, WATCHCON 2. The information at the link is incorrect. What does that mean?

As for preventing intelligence to get out, that sounds bogus, satelites see everything these days, except inside rocks, so, what would they be hding? If they were going to shoot something down, wouldn't they want to protect civilians who might be in the way if a missile misfires?

A further increase in force readiness but less than maximum readiness, All members are alerted to the possibility that war is eminent. VFAS-524 has received or issued a challenge for combat. A date and time has been set. What's a VFAS-524 ? How reliable is this?

Sorry,
I really don’t know.
Some folks said something about it all being a video game.
I’ve been away from the military far too long to even guess well. You might try DOGPILE.COM
or

Please ping me to what you find out.
Blessings,
