“I think we can all move past YouTube snippets and half-sentences and actually look at her honest-to-God record,”

We have, it stinks.

“Justice O’Connor has often been cited as saying that a wise old man and wise old woman will reach the same conclusion in deciding cases,” said Sotomayor.”

If wisdom is a deciding factor then Sotonmayor is unqualified.

I had heard on my local radio that even a few liberal writers have come out against her as she simply is not smart enough to be on the court. However, I did not hear any names.

As this process gets started I'm hoping we'll be made more familiar of the decisions of hers which were tossed by the SC. There must be a few which the Republicans can use against her in the court of public opinion.

I just hope someone on our side in DC has the guts to do what is right.

We can only hope the other justices make her recuse herself for those cases.

I’m beginning to think that she can’t even speak Spanish, because no one who does would say “Latina woman”. Spanish nouns and adjectives have genders — “Latina” is feminine, no need to say “woman”.
