What is up with all the earthquakes all of a sudden? It seems that every time I turn around, somebody is getting an earthquake. I don’t remember there being this many earthquakes when I was a boy.

more likely it is because of all the monitoring and reporting of events and such. that tends to raise awareness. well, for some anyway.

This looks to be in the Owen’s Valley, where big quakes rattle no population.

This whole area around Owens Lake is “Rock and Roll”

Follow an earthquake notification service. The USGS is one and a lot on Twitter. There are earthquakes every few minutes.
BTW, the earth is always moving.
