Well, at least he's right on freedom of speech. At least even as liberal as he is, free speech is absolutely paramount.
Of course, I didn't see that at Notre Dame.

His having supported Kerry and Obama is fine by me. As long as he does not seek to inhibit my support towards principles and candidates of my belief structure. As he stated, that is what this country is all about.
My hat is off to him. He is a minority amongst his peers.

Agreed. He is free to support whomever he wants, but please, Mr. Macy, don’t try to tell me what I should think and how awful I am for not agreeing, like so many of your peers.

What evil has possessed this man to embrace such scandalous ideas?
Hateful, simply hateful.

"His father, William Hall Macy, Sr., was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and an Air Medal for flying a B-17 Flying Fortress bomber in World War II." cool! My dad was a B-17 pilot with the same medals, in addition to others. I always knew I like William H. Macy! And I'm shocked to read what he said.

That’s the point. He did not do that. He spoke against the Fairness Doctrine.
