It’s just basic fascism, no reason to be surprised.

*Excellent* sleuthing smith, simply superb!
Doing what the MSM quislings used to, and now refuse to do.

Ahhhhhhh, what chance is there this behavior is defined under the RICO statutes?

Be interesting to hear those in law here address that question.

After reviewing the first 5 pages of the Chrysler closings, here are the findings:
During the 2004 Presidential Election, the dealers gave $10,500 to President Bush, $1,000 to General Wesley Clark (D), and $500 to Rep. Dick Gephardt (D).
During the 2008 Presidential Election, they gave $7,150 to John McCain, $2,300 to Gov. Mitt Romney, $500 to Gov. Mike Huckabee, $1,950 to Sen. Hillary Clinton, and $0 to Pres. Obama.
Also, since the 2004 Election cycle, the dealers analzyed so far gave $113,400 to the RNC and the State Republican Parties and $1,000 to the State Democratic Parties.
The dealers gave $120,000 to GOP candidates and $34,350 to Democratic candidates.

I ask you to ponder why American automakers have been being demonized by the media and the left for some time now?

This started before the bankruptcy.

They deliberatley bankrupted the big 3 so that they could take over a profitable business and put democrats in charge. This is much more sinister than you think. They are redistributing businesses that have long been a part of the republican base to their own base.

Look what they did to Wal Mart.

They are doing it right underneath our noses.

Next stops will be for health care and pharmaceuticals.

WE NEED TO PUT A STOP TO THIS.

Latest information on the “protected” dealerships:

In my analysis of the Chrysler dealers that will remain open, I came across one dealer group that stood out to me.
The company is called RLJ-McLarty-Landers, and it operates six Chrysler dealerships throughout the South. All six dealerships are safe from closing. The dealer locations are:

1. Bentonville, AR (northwest Arkansas)
2. Lee’s Summit, MO (south of Kansas City, MO)
3. Branson, MO
4. Olathe, KS (near Kansas City)
5. Bossier City, LA (near Shreveport)
6. Huntsville, AL

The interesting part is who the three main owners of the company are. The owners are Steve Landers (long-time car dealer, 4th-generation dealer), Thomas “Mack” McLarty (former Chief of Staff for President Clinton), and Robert Johnson (founder of Black Entertainment Television and co-owner of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats). Landers has given money to Republicans in the past, but McLarty campaigned for Obama in 2008, and Johnson has given countless amounts of money to Democrats over the years.

I will post some information on RLJ-McLarty-Landers and how their dealerships are effected by the closings shortly.
