Obambi is not saving her either, he wants Hoyer to take over.
And her smarmy sycophantic royal ass kiss the other day gave him a sour look on his face- he looked like he wanted to go wipe his ass to get the lipstick off.
Ok, in Pelosi defense, all politicians lie at one time or another. Further almost all people lie at one time or another.
I want people to lie. If there is a 90% chance that the country is going down the drain, I don’t want hear about it.
I want to hear “ we have a hard road ahead but if we all work together we will succeed” even if it is probably a lie.
Pelosi was told about water boarding, let it go for the good of the country, got caught in a politically tight spot for her stand and is trying to lie her way out. What is so bad about that ?
Personally, if our govt wants to off a few undesirable leaders that I can think of and lie about it. I don’t have a huge problem with it.
A lot of Americans seem to be pouncing on her, including members of the press and even the rabid John Stewart. If ever there was an opportunity to take down the witch, it’s now. Americans smell her fear and they don’t like that in politicians.
I was channel surfing Friday evening, and Fox's lead story was the Pelosi press conference. Over at pmsnbc, Madcow was talking about the Bush-Rove interrogation "story". 40 minutes later, I checked back with the Madcow, and she was still covering the Bush-Rove angle. Probably gave Pelosi short shrift, if any time at all. (for my sanity's sake, I didn't wish to stay around long enough to find out)
The CIA must now give up resources to fight Nancy Pelosi.
Is she working for Bin Laden?
NO NEWT IN 2012! At least not on a ticket. He’ll be fine as a campaigner, but TOO MUCH BAGGAGE to be a candidate. I wouldn’t vote for someone who’s bought in to the global warming / climate change crap, or someone who said the age of Reagan is over. That would turn off conservatives.
Then imagine what the MSM would do to him with his personal life issues, e.g., his divorce.
He/we would lose.
She’s in a panic because she is so used to living in an uncontested dream world that she simply cannot stand up to hard questioning.
Newt would only lose if people like you decide that getting divorced is the most important issue for electing a politician and decide to vote for the devoted family man 0bama instead.
Good thing your mentality lost out when Ronald Reagan ran for president.
I think Gingrich needs to replace Steele.
“Newt would only lose if people like you decide that getting divorced is the most important issue for electing a politician and decide to vote for the devoted family man 0bama instead.”
I didn’t say that the divorce bothered ME!! I said that the MSM would take advantage of his divorce to discredit him. Pay attention. Read. I believe that his ex was battling cancer when he moved on to the next; it isn’t attractive, and the media would love the issue.
Again, Republicans vote for Republicans. Republicans lose when Republicans don’t come out and vote for them. Newt would lose if the Republican base (this means people like you) decide that whatever dirt the MSM throws at the Republican candidate (and they will always throw dirt at the Republican candidate) is reason to allow Democrats to win yet another election. We have the power to decide our priorities. Do we want someone who is a brilliant reformer like Newt, or do we want someone with a squeaky clean image? (which the MSM would also use against them - think Mitt Romney.) What is most important to us for the person directing the policies of the US Government?
“Republicans vote for Republicans. Republicans lose when Republicans dont come out and vote for them.” That’s ridiculous logic. We held our collective noses and voted for McCain; he still lost.
“Newt would lose if the Republican base decide that whatever dirt the MSM throws at the Republican candidate is reason to allow Democrats to win yet another election.” More ridiculous logic. MSM coverage and bias carry no weight with us.
“they will always throw dirt at the Republican candidate”. This is true. This is the reason we need to find someone brilliant AND as “squeaky clean” as possible.
A “brilliant reformer” would be wonderful, but put Newt on the ballot, and we’d lose yet another election. Sad, but true. I love to hear Newt speak; he truly is “brilliant” but he could not win.
More than having a “brilliant reformer” (that’s cute, but so ‘60s), I prefer a tough conservative who’ll protect us, our borders, and our Constitution — if there’s a choice, that is.
