It is actually quite remarkable that he was even able to have sex after a 180 mile bicycle ride. There must have been at least a day or so before things got serious.

Anybody know how many days it takes to bike 180 miles? I’m curious, and I don’t have a benchmark. A guy that rides can do 180 miles in a day but he's going to be shot when he gets there. I suspect he left one day and arrived the next.

At age 24 I rode from Pittsburgh to Scranton, about 250 miles. It took 3.5 days, but a lot of mountains. From Havre de Grace, I’ll bet he went right up along the Susquehanna, staying pretty flat. I’d say 2 days, 90 miles a day, easy.
By the way, when I got to Scranton, I did not mess around with an underage girl. She was 22.
