I keep hearing that online petitions don’t do anything and are worthless. Anyone have the facts on this?
I have no idea, but if you feel it is a waste of time, don’t go there.

Republicans don’t need to throw people out, they need leaders with strong arguments who stand up including to wimps in their own party.
People have to start in their own states first. Once this is accomplished, the Gop will have no choice but to do the peoples will.

This petition may not have “legs”; but its a good idea. It would make a great contrast in arguing for CHANGE by offering new leaders - as opposed to the dems who chant CHANGE, then trot out the same people that we’ve seen for 3 (or more) decades.
Viguirie is the biggest GOP mail list operator in the country, so guess what he needs your email and address for? This petition is idiotic, the voters in each district or state elect their reps, not Steele.
Anyone signing it is a doufas.
99% of these online petitions have one goal, to cull eddresses and mailing info so you can be spammed 1000 times and then sell the list to another 1000 spammers...anyone who can write a check that won’t bounce.
If you want to do something relevant, write Steel a letter. Most of these online petitions never even get delivered, and if they do it is while the perp is out of town and their office staff promptly dumps them in the trash.
I can’t believe in this day and age people actually believe these things are legitimate.
Any petition that asks for an address is a scam. If you feel compelled to take part, only do so with the ones that ask only for your email address and or state then give them your second or third tier Yahoo mail account.
If it gets spammed bad, you can always delete the account.
