The continents didn’t just ‘drift,’ they were rapidly hydroplanning.

How do you hydroplane under water?

“and the subsequent upheaval of the Earth’s crust”

Please answer all of the following questions. As we are too ignorant to see the answers.

What caused the upheaval of Earth’s Crust?

When do YOU believe this flood occured?

How do you explain lasting man made structures in China and Egypt with no evidence of flood water?

Where did the water go?

If you answered God made it dissapear to the previous question, then can your arguement really stand up to scientific analysis? If it can’t, then why bother with science, geology, astronomy? Why not keep religion where it belongs (in churches and in our day to day lifes...not geology)

here is a question that you might want to think about

Is there any possible way that your search for biblical evidence is due to a lack of faith?

"How do you explain lasting man made structures in China and Egypt with no evidence of flood water?"

Wow what BS! - The great pyramid and the sphynx both have massive errosion damage.

Take your nonsense somewhere else. All your "questions" have been answered; look them up if you give an evo.

"I read one commentary that claimed that Shem may actually have been Melchizedek"

Melchizedek was the preincarnate Savior.

So it wasn’t “plate drift”. The entire continent of Pangea was lifted up to the surface, broken apart, and the pieces “hydroplaned” to there present locations and dropped there?

Some of the Jewish Targums make that identification.

You did not answer any of the questions, especially this right here:

WHERE DID THE WATER GO?

_________________________________________________________

“The great pyramid and the sphynx both have massive errosion damage.”

I said no evidence of flood water of course there is evidence of erosion. There is a difference between erosion and air and erosion in water. If the pyramids were under several thousand feet of water, would we not see marine life that is dead around and inside the pyramids? Algae growth on the pyramids? Why would there be massive erosion on the outside of the pyramid while nearly none on the inside?

___________________________________________________________

You do not answer the questions presented, you simply accuse the other of ignorance. Sometimes you take one quote out of context and post a rebuttal that makes no scientific sense and is easily disproved. This is the same strategy that global warming alarmists, 9/11 conspiracy idiots, and moon landing hoax people use.

When beaten in the debate you and the others move to a new thread and talk about how stupid we are to not see the truth.
____________________________________________________________

If the answers to my questions are out there, please present them as I can not find them.

How do you hydroplane under water?

The same way you cure cancer with a coffee enema.

Yes, I personally believe that Melchizedek was a Christophany.

However, I find it interesting that the chronology finds it possible that it COULD have been Shem; that is, that he may have been alive at the time.

“This isn't news.

It belongs in either opinion or religion.

Probably religion.”
Not your call.

The guy who decides has decided.

To my knowledge, he hasn't changed his mind.

If you don't like these threads, don't read them. (How hard can that be?)

Chronologically, perhaps, but Melchizedek was of a “higher order” than Aaron, so could not have been a mortal man.

I said that all your questions have been answered, and they have. All you have to do is a little search on the site.

The water went two places; some in the oceans, which were then miles deeper than they had been, and some went back where it originally came from: down below. In the western states you can see the wash lines where large basins held the flood waters for hundreds of years, such as the Central Valley in California, or "Rim Country" in Arizona.

As to the pyramids, there wouldn't be any liklihood of marine life left behind, since they weren't submerged long enough for marine life to regenerate to that extent. Also, the local looters over the millenia would have made off with whatever would have been there.

"Sometimes you take one quote out of context and post a rebuttal that makes no scientific sense and is easily disproved."

I have no idea what you are talking about.

It wasn’t just the dry land that moved, the entire crust of the earth was ruptured, and once ruptured, centrifugal, gravitational, and rotational stress caused the pieces to move. To a great extent, the very same forces that continue to act today were involved, but the “fountains of the great deep” exerted the initial forces, and provided the water and magma.

So you've got the entire crust of the Earth, ripped up into continent-sized chunks and sent hydroplaning across the top of the water. The entire surface of the Earth is now on top of the water, and the only open water is in the open spaces between those chunks.

Did all this happen before or after the ark made landfall?

Whether you know it, or not, a large part is still on water.

In subduction zones, millions of gallons of water are leaked in each day.

Hydroplaning = water underneath, air on top. Not water on top and some pockets or subteranean rivers underneath.
