Unlike Romney's "National Council for a New America," Free Republic is a conservative site!

The problem with Duncan Hunter is HIS NAME. No one named Duncan Hunter can ever win in this country. Don’t ask me why: It just is so.

I think crude and vulgar language does nothing to advance the cause. Regardless of who uses it. *******************
I agree, don-o, that this is true the vast majority of the time. We shouldn't let profanity corrupt our everyday conversation. However, there are also times when stronger language may be appropriate, or at least, understandable.

Apparently you can’t explain it. I don’t have time to go thru 500+ posts, I was asking for a simple explanation of the plan but no one seems to be able to answer the question. Never mind, it was a mistake to think someone would be nice enough to point me in the right direction.

“The swine flu virus that has frightened the world is beginning to look a little less ominous. New York City officials reported Friday that the swine flu still has not spread beyond a few schools. In Mexico, very few relatives of flu victims seem to have caught the virus.
One flu expert says there’s no reason to believe the new virus is a more serious strain than seasonal flu. And a federal health official said the new flu virus doesn’t appear to have genes that made the 1918 pandemic flu strain so deadly.”

that conservatives would be unwilling to vote for a conservative Mormon.

This may not make me popular here, but I would not even vote for a Mormon conservative candidate. Based upon my experience, I do not trust them to be genuine.

LOL! Best tagline I agree. McShame blames everyone except his daughter. Nappy blames veterans, white conservatives and Canadians - w/no backup info except 'what she "thinks" and the list goes on.
We will make it. Hopefully, Fox/Rush/Sean/Levin/Beck/Savage are slowly opening the eyes of the masses. Unemployed, being robbed by gov't w/no light in sight perhaps woke some up.

So once again I ask HOW DOES FR PLAN TO REBEL?????? What is the plan???? March on washington, paint signs, WHAT??? Can SOMEONE answer the question??? Everyone is just beating around the bush here,, define REBEL. I believe Jim's plan, and again he can correct me if necessary, which I fully support, is to rebel (again a verb) through grassroots efforts (like the tea parties) against liberalism in the GOP and government as a whole. By doing this, we can put pressure on elected Republicans to either support conservatism or be exposed as liberals. This is EXACTLY what Reagan urged Republicans to do in 1975 (I will post a link below) in which he suggested that, "if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way."
If the GOP fails to once again embrace conservatism, then it is time to "let them go the way of the Whigs" as Lincoln and other brave men did when the Whigs refused to embrace the most basic conservative issue of that era -- the abolition of slavery.

WHAT IS THE PLAN????
He'll boot their butt/purge them from his site. Do you need us to write in crayons?
Really, you are being silly....
To: Peter Horry
No. There is a difference between being ‘not perfect’ and being completely, fatally, flawed. Rudy and Romney are so far off the chart that they don’t even have a word to describe how imperfect they are.
Duncan Hunter is a good man. However, sometimes, it does need to be pointed out to the more fervent supporters that Duncan Hunter doesn’t have the best record of fiscal discipline.
